Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
Post Combine
Virginia Tech CB Caleb Farley, a projected first-round pick, missed his pro day due to his back procedure, but here, courtesy of @Bommaritos, was his most recent 40 on March 5th, when performance coach Pete Bommarito said he timed Farley at 4.28 in the 40. pic.twitter.com/cibdZeGUGJ

This is certainly notable.

Farley missed the final two games of 2019 with a back injury that required offseason surgery. https://t.co/QPCg3a88Ne
Farley has an exceptional speed turn that allows him to recover if his hips get beat initially.

His superior athletic profile allows him to always be in position, even if gets beat initially.
The best recovery speed I can remember scouting from a CB prospect was William Jackson III.

Farley's is better.
People were mad I had him ahead of Surtain. There’s definitely a level of projection. I think Surtain is the cleaner prospect. I think Farley is the freakish one. Reminds me of my argument having Henderson CB1 over Okudah last year. All terrific prospects though. Win win.
