Surtain carries the go route with ease. Gets in phase, locates ball and finishes with a PBU.

Surtain only allowed 2 catches (on 15 targets) on passes 20+ yards downfield in 2020, per PFF. #CB1 pic.twitter.com/3lUOwCPpo4

The thing with Patrick Surtain is he’s gonna be torched by quick twitchy WR’s who can separate in short areas and excel using burst. He’s meant to cover big guys with build up speed. Value that how you will.

Physical play-style shows up in coverage (high-end press-man traits) & vs. run game. Length + disruptive ball skills. Top 15 talent. @NFLMatchup pic.twitter.com/vo8uin2LHR
Just finished up with the natty, and it gave me even more confidence in Surtain as a CB prospect. Carried verticals well, show patience through the stem, stayed connected vs dive inside release, great angles to recover. Only gave up 2 catches for 17 against 2 NFL caliber WRs. pic.twitter.com/CxcIHfI5EH
