CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
Post Combine
Watching Jalen Hurts tonight but couldn’t help but notice WR CeeDee Lamb here. As @eric_crocker says, even on run plays you like to see a WR work his release like Lamb does. Then at the end he finishes by throwing Darnay Holmes to the ground. Not on the stat sheet, but a fun play pic.twitter.com/lVTiwBAroX

Stepping on toes again. Good stuff! Really good route there. I watch a ton of guys when they aren't throw the ball. pic.twitter.com/Zcx2esCXCd

Today 2 more receivers - Ceedee Lamb and Jalen Reagor. Lamb was one of my more fascinating evaluations. I watched him in detail in both 2018 and 2019. There were times I loved his tape, and other times I was less certain. But don't get me wrong - he's a strong prospect. pic.twitter.com/xmvCEUT9lW

Ceedee Lamb is a tough evaluation. I think it’s the Oklahoma offense combined with the defense they face. Just watched the whole Houston game and came away with just a few plays where I was really able to evaluate him. When I post the thread you’ll see. On to the LSU game now.

CeeDee Lamb gets a ton of deserved praise for his YAC but he's under-hyped as an excellent route runner.

What I kept thinking: Quick...in absolutely everything. Quick breaks. Quick decisions. Quick to accelerate after he's tricked a CB.
Reminds of DeAndre Hopkins in that way.

Team sources say Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was a star in the team interviews. Other players that impressed teams include Henry Ruggs, Adam Trautman, CeeDee Lamb, and James Morgan https://t.co/mH36NZrS5T

As I've said for 3 months, CeeDee Lamb is the best receiver in this draft. He ran 4.52. About 6-2, 200. DeAndre Hopkins meets Michael Thomas. Great athletic ball skills. Runs with slippery power, physicality, will. Made for the NFL.

2. From the Senior Bowl to his testing performance, there arguably isn’t a prospect who’s helped themselves more during the pre-draft process than Baylor WR Denzel Mims. He went back to school to prove he wasn’t just a “speed guy” and he’s hit a home-run since.
Quality QB play is obviously a large part trying to evaluate wide receivers coming into the NFL.

#OU WR CeeDee Lamb has the DNA to be a future WR1 for an NFL team

His combination of strong hands, and body contortion allow him to be an inaccuracy eraser – enabling him to be a future first-round pick
