Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU

TCU's Jeff Gladney is one of my favorite cornerback prospects in the class, a top-40 player in the 2020 NFL Draft

Interesting @AlbertBreer notes TCU Corner has character concerns. Didn’t hear that until Al’s article. Recognized there were medical issues...

Of top CBs... Red Flags on Gladney, Diggs, Arnette, Bryce Hall, Kristian Fulton.
Medical or Character 🚩 (or both)
How did the top cornerbacks in the 2020 draft class fare versus the most dangerous routes, compared to first-round corners in recent years? pic.twitter.com/zBCjXoGT7Z

Nice job here by Gladney to work through the congestion and still track the receiver on the crosser to disrupt the pass pic.twitter.com/sz1IaHem5W

Jeff Gladney, CB, #TCU:
— Jordan Reid (@JReidNFL) March 28, 2020
• Pitbull mentality 100% of the time
• Effective press-man CB (+)
• LB-type of enthusiasm as a tackler
• A+ zone/route concept awareness
• Ball skills (++)
• Highest point ball attacker (+)
• Patient pedal/balance pic.twitter.com/1ThCfW8bhx
Cool example of Jeff Gladney using a slingshot technique to propel himself forward to undercut the crossing route for the PBU. Watch his left hand right before he undercuts the pass. pic.twitter.com/oR395uK208

JJ said Gladney was the best CB he faced:
— KP 🏁 (@KP_Show) March 1, 2020
He's a dog. He's got long arms, and he's physical. You can tell he loves the sport of football. When you go against someone like that that loves football, who's physical and has all of the tools, it's hard. It's tough to go against him.

Here's undersized Jeff Gladney attached to the hip of 2019 draft twitter darling, the 6-5, 227-pound WR Hakeem Butler.

WE AREN'T... LOVING.... JEFF GLADNEY.... ENOUGH..... pic.twitter.com/hJfCs1Mt6S
Scrappy, tough, in your face type of CB. Excellent man coverage technique and ball skills. Plays with the mentality of a LB. https://t.co/vta04OanaU

#TCU CB Jeff Gladney’s film is such a joy to watch. Fluid hips, excellent match-mirror skills, and he comes up like a linebacker in run support. pic.twitter.com/Fr7fzNocX9

My favorite part about Jeff Gladney’s game is how he recognizes and attacks passing concepts (++). He also has great ball skills. He’s a go getter when the ball is in the air. pic.twitter.com/N0dheBJFVh

Okudah, Henderson, and Gladney. All 3 are excellent man cover corners. https://t.co/zS5W3ur9Vo
