Never let anybody tell you that you make too many transactions. Recently, my fantasy general management strategy has cum under siege by a fellow league-mate. He claims that My 80 transactions were actually detrimental to my team. I dove into the numbers to find out if there was any truth to that sentiment.

You can see how my transactions stack up to my opponents in the chart above. The second percentage column represents the percentage of flex vs K/D added.

So although I have double the transactions, you can see that my distinguished collegue is actually adding flex positions at a 5 percent higher rate. On the inverse, my transactions involve a kicker or defense 5 percent more often. Just saying.

So what was the worst moves by either team? My league mate dropped Latavius Murray for Rashaad Pennny on week 3. Murray would go on to have nearly 85 points over his next 5 games whereas Penny has almost 15. Since I have twice the transactions we will look at my two worst transactions. Week 1 I dropped Tyler Lockett, who has gone on to score a TD in 8 of his 10 games this season, for Jaylen SAmuels, who averages less than 1 point per week. My next worst move was dropping Frank Gore in October before his big run started where he averages almost 7 points per game from week 4-11, for Donta Foreman who has yet to play a snap this year (and is still sitting on my bench).

So what did we learn? We learned that transactions dont really matter and fantasy football is supposed to be fun so you should not be a dick. Let people have fun.
