Thomas was overhyped as the draft process drug on, but he should be a fine player. Thomas is a poor fit in the 49ers 4-3 scheme as a Strong closed DE. Thomas needs to refine his pass rushing ability, but will be a weapon on 3rd downs if the 49ers push him inside where he can rush against guards in a phone booth.

This pick looks worse and worse as time goes on. Foster, a consensus top 3 talent in the class, has had multiple showings of poor character and injury issues including multiple concussions and torn ligaments in both shoulders. If Foster keeps his head on straight and gets his body right, he is the NFL's next Navarro Bowman. But until then, he looks like someone who should have dropped further.

Witherspoon could have been selected as high or higher than his teammate Chidobe Awuzie. Draftniks were split on who was the superior prospect. Witherspoon has better size and will immediately be the 49ers #1 CB, for better or worse.

He is white, and played in a pro-style offense. Not overly accurate and has a relativley weak arm. Meh.

Shannahan pounded the table for Joe Williams in the 4th frame, and who am I to argue with the Shanny lineage.

Kittle is the best all-around TE prospect in this years class. He has above average speed and possesses great hands. Kittle is also a tremendous blocker, and offers value as a Fullback/H-back
