Tyrod Taylor
Has struggled passing the ball in his last three starts being held under 191 yards each game while throwing for only one touchdown. His legs have been his saving grace for fantasy owners as he’s piled up 107 yards and two rushing scores in that span. My bold prediction for Taylor headed into week 14 has him passing for his first 300 yard game of the season on 37 attempts with two touchdowns to one interception. Along with contributing in 28 rushing yards against a mediocre Pittsburgh pass defense that ranks 19th in the league. Sammy Watkins seems to be back at full health so look for Taylor to target his star wide out repeatedly throughout the course of the game. Prediction (21.2 points)
Colin Kaepernick
Is back under center after being benched at halftime last week after his catastrophic outing where he went 1-5 passing for a lousy 4 yards. Kaepernick will look to redeem himself this Sunday at home where he’s played exceptionally well this season averaging (19.26) fantasy points per game. The 49ers also go up against a Jets defense that got utterly embarrassed on Monday Night by Andrew Luck who threw for 278 yards and four touchdowns as the Colts trounced the Jets by a score of 41-10. My bold prediction for Kaepernick has him putting last week behind him going 18 of 30 passing for 235 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and 36 yards rushing. Prediction (19.6 points)
Rex Burkhead
Lead the Bengals ground attack last Sunday with 38 yards and has posted at least 48 total yards in each of his two games since taking over for Giovani Bernard that’s been placed on IR from a season ending torn ACL. Burkhead should continue to be heavily involved this week against a Cleveland defense that ranks 31st in the league for points allowed by backs. My bold prediction has the versatile back continuing his emergence in the Bengals offense rushing for 43 yards on 10 carries while grabbing 4 passes out of the backfield for 31 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Prediction (13.4 points)
Justin Forsett
WAIT WHAT? That’s right Denver signed the veteran running back on Monday after backup Kapri Bibbs suffered a high ankle sprain in the Broncos win over Jacksonville on Sunday. There’s a legitimate chance Forsett could play an immediate role in the offense even with under a week to prepare. Forsett is well aware of Kubiak’s offensive game plan from his days he spent with him in Baltimore where Forsett went on to his first and only Pro Bowl. With starter Devonte Booker struggling mightily in the last five games averaging only (2.8) yards per rush don’t be surprised to see Kubiak turn to Forsett as a change of pace runner. My bold prediction has him seeing between 6 to 8 carries for 25 yards and adding in 3 catches for 19 yards as well as his first touchdown of 2016. Prediction (10.5 points)
Cole Beasley
Coming off a season low in both catches and yards last week against a Vikings defense that held him in check all game allowing him to catch only two passes for 23 yards. Beasley has a great opportunity this Sunday Night to get back in rhythm with quarterback Dak Prescott when the Cowboys play division rival New York Giants. A team Beasley burned for a season high 8 targets for 65 yards in their week 1 matchup. My bold prediction has Beasley posting very similar stats as the first meeting though this time finding his way in for six. Prediction (12.4 points)
Amari Cooper
I tend to stay away from throwing in big name players since everyone assumes they have the ability to produce satisfying fantasy numbers each week. Amari Cooper I had to make an exception for as I foresee the second year wide out completely shredding the Chief’s 22nd ranked pass defense in a must win game for Oakland on Thursday Night. A win would give the Raiders a two game lead over Kansas City in the AFC West along with their first playoff bid since 2002. My bold prediction for Cooper is for him to have an electrifying performance catching 9 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns in a Raider’s come from behind victory. Prediction (24.7 points)
Jermaine Gresham
Arizona’s offense hasn’t had much help in the pass game outside of names like David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald, but Gresham is starting to implement himself more the last few weeks catching 10 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown over the last two games. This couldn’t have come at a better time for the Cardinals as there well in the hunt for a wildcard spot if they win out. My bold prediction has Gresham playing his best game to date catching six passes for 58 yards and a touchdown against a Miami secondary that got absolutely pummeled last week through the air by tight ends allowing 129 yards and two scores. Prediction (11.8 points)
Vernon Davis
Deep into last week’s game in Arizona Davis had only one catch for five yards. Until he caught four passes on Washington’s final two drives to salvage his fantasy day to a total of 46 yards, which turns out to be a pretty productive outing against a defense that’s been stingy to tight ends this year. Even with the return of starter Jordan Reed I’d expect the Redskins to utilize Davis quite often against the Eagles since he did post 50 yards and a score against them back in week 6. My bold prediction for the veteran has him continuing his impressive backup role catching 4 balls for 37 yards and a touchdown. Prediction (9.7 points)
